A new kind of global marketplace

For conventional economists, it’s a frightening concept that would slow growth, reduce the flow of world trade and curb consumption. It would force us to rethink just about every economic axiom we’ve taken for granted since the dawn of the industrial age.

Adding in the cost of you ecological footprint to every item you buy should (I would hope) promt you to think twice about the consumer choices you make. I'm studying more about this issue and have determined that the least I can do is use less, create more. Something I was convicted of while in Africa was: "is what I'm producing creating life?"

I know God is challenging me to give instead of take. Not only from Him, but from this Earth He's given us.

I can't wait to be back in the states and have a garden. I can't wait to make hummus andcan my own fruits and veggies :) Oh and learn mom's secret pickle recipe. Southern cookin' here I come!
